Who am I?
Joshua Koessel L.M.T.
My journey into massage therapy began with a childhood fascination with the human body—sparked by breaking my arm at age 9. Years of playing soccer, water skiing, and wrestling kept me physically engaged, and when organized sports ended, distance running became my new outlet.
But old injuries caught up with me. Chronic pain taught me that the "no pain, no gain" mindset wasn’t sustainable. This led me to yoga in 2005, initially to manage pain. Over time, it became a passion, and I earned my yoga teacher certification in 2018.
Teaching yoga deepened my understanding of movement and healing, while training in jiu-jitsu and other physical disciplines gave me firsthand insight into bodies under extreme stress. Through injury, recovery, and adaptation, I found my purpose: helping others stay active and connected to the lives they love.
As a massage therapist, I bring this experience to every session—supporting clients through pain relief, performance goals, or simply moving with more ease and confidence.
